John keatley
(b. 1980 in Santa Barbara, CA) is a product of the 80’s, where vivid colors and graphic imaginative characters were found throughout all forms of entertainment. His work is very much a reflection of these attributes - bold, graphic, simple, and vibrant - and revolves around his fascination with human relationships and behavior, often leaning into awkwardness and humor. Always looking to boil an image down to its simplest, most compelling form, nothing is shown if it does not serve a purpose, and each image feels powerful while not taking itself too seriously.
